What are Serums?
A serum is a concentrated skincare product formulated to deliver targeted nourishment to the skin. Within the Osmosis line, serums are considered the heartbeat of the brand, built with smaller molecular structures, thoughtful delivery systems, and concentrated ingredient blends that support healthier-looking skin.
Osmosis serums are built around three ideas. Size and delivery: smaller molecular structures and delivery systems help ingredients reach the skin efficiently and support healthy-looking tissue. Ingredient coexistence: a serum can combine multiple supportive ingredients in one formula without compromising their function — similar to how a salad holds many different nourishing components, each with its own benefit. Concentration: serums carry a higher concentration of nutritional ingredients than a cleanser or moisturizer, making them the most targeted step in a routine.
Cleansing is temporary, and moisturizers mainly help lock in hydration, while serums carry the more active, targeted skin support. This reflects the clinical approach of Osmosis founder Dr. Ben Johnson, who built the serum line around concentrated, targeted formulas that nourish skin and improve the appearance of concerns like dryness, uneven tone, texture, blemishes, or visible aging.
