Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, split across the day and buffered. Catalyst in the morning over damp skin, Renew MD two or three nights a week with Rescue underneath it. Dry skin usually fails with actives because it applies them to a tight surface, not because it cannot take them.
Because a compromised barrier lets everything in faster than it should. The sting is the barrier reporting its condition rather than the serum being wrong for you. Two weeks of Rescue and a richer moisturizer usually clears it, after which the same serum feels like nothing.
They help the conditions behind it. Regenerate supports skin and liver, and Environmental Detox works on the load the body is processing, both of which show up in how well skin holds water. Neither replaces a moisturizer; they change how much work it has to do.
Thinnest and most water-based first, richest last: Catalyst or Replenish, then Rescue, then StemFactor, then the moisturizer. A minute between layers is plenty. If that feels like too much on a given night, drop one rather than rushing all four onto dry skin.
Only partly. Cold air and indoor heating guarantee more water loss, so the routine has to get richer for a few months rather than stay the same. People who lighten up too early in spring are usually the ones still flaking in April.
