What does being an Osmosis Mastermind mean to you?:
ADRIENNE SHOSTAK: It means being a true master in my field. Working from an holistic perspective never gets old! It is so satisfying to be able to treat people in this unique and innovative way, and help them from the inside out.
We’d love to learn more about your professional journey and your successful practice:
ADRIENNE SHOSTAK: After fifteen years of seeking help from derms for my blemishes, I attended the London School of Beauty and Makeup to pursue my esthetics license. I opened my practice in the UK and practiced for five years before moving back to the US and discovering Osmosis. It transformed my practice, and quickly I was able to expand to a team of six. We are thriving due to the philosophy and practices laid out by Osmosis.
What does Wellness mean to you?
ADRIENNE SHOSTAK: Wellness means balance in all the body's systems. The skin is reflecting these systems...your head, your heart, your gut. The body wants to be well, as does our mind and spirit! So given the opportunity to naturally heal, it will. So I strive to allow myself and our clients embark on that journey and create a true peace within and without.
Care to share about your favorite Osmosis success story?:
ADRIENNE SHOSTAK: I think it's always just addressing blemishes. I love helping people with this as I struggled so badly myself. I also love marrying massage to the treatments as it's our calling card. When we can transform a client's skin and help them to feel incredible at the same time it's always a win!
What are your favorite Osmosis products?
ADRIENNE SHOSTAK: Rescue always, but Skin Defense is a close second!
What are you passionate about personally?:
ADRIENNE SHOSTAK: I'm personally passionate about energy work. After fifteen years of putting my hands on faces it is crystal clear to me that energy transfer occurs when we offer treatment, and I am so passionate about providing healing energy to everyone I touch. I truly believe this can change the world.
What does the future look like to you?:
ADRIENNE SHOSTAK: Life is good at Bespoke...I have a wonderful team of women so deeply invested in helping the people of DC. I see us more deeply investing in manual methods of treatment and massage to continue to promote true wellness.
If you could give a Facial Infusion treatment to anyone past or present, who would it be and why?
ADRIENNE SHOSTAK: I think it would be myself in my teen years! I struggled so badly with blemishes, having infusions would have saved me years of pain.
Any advice for new Estheticians?
ADRIENNE SHOSTAK: Develop a meditation practice. You can't give what you don't have and if you have a practice like this you will intuitively develop an instinct for how to best help people.
